Simple Elegant Touches w/ Tissue Paper & Streamers

These are round candies that you can find anywhere in stores, but they are wrapped in a bit of colored streamer paper and tied off with little bows -- it gives a soft and uniformity to your candy, easy and pretty! These cute tissue paper pom poms are a Martha Stewart creation, they add cute whimsy to any party, and can even be lighted for an outdoor event. The site above has a step by step tutorial on how to make these and a video on how to light them. Love it!

The gorgeous large poms are visible to all the party guest when sitting on a cool wooden post, and i like that they are up high enough that when the guest are sitting at the table they can still see each other -- it's a perfect center piece that doesn't get in the way!

And -- Although i know these are not made up of tissue paper, i think you probably could get the same effect when using tissue paper instead of dyed coffee filter papers -- they look so delicate and beautiful, they are definitely worth the work to make.
